East Sussex Energy
Partnership - Free solar panels can save you energy too!
You may be eligible for a grant to install solar thermal technology to provide heating or solar PV (photovoltaics) to provide electricity.
Solar thermal heating & Solar PV
Solar thermal uses the power of the sun to heat your water,
potentially saving around £65 a year off your gas bill or around £95 off your electricity bill, depending how you currently heat your water.
Solar PV uses the suns rays to generate electricity, which can save around £250 per year off your electricity bill.
These measures may be FREE to households who meet the eligibility criteria: aged over 60, and/or claiming working tax credits with children under 16, and/or disabled or chronically ill.
For all applicants, an assessment will be made of the amount of household income spent on energy. Those in greatest need will be given preference. All other households will be able to take advantage of significant discounts.
Sorry!
Please note, due to the high number of enquires
received, no further applications are being taken for solar
